What cookies are
Cookies are small files that may be stored in your browser to help a website function, remember preferences, or analyze general site use.
Use on this website
The Chroma Shu website may use technical cookies required for operation and, when external tools are used, cookies related to analytics, video, social networks, or linked platforms.
External services
When you access content or links from platforms such as YouTube, Instagram, or Amazon, those platforms may use their own cookies under their respective policies.
Managing cookies
You can configure your browser to block, delete, or manage cookies. Some functions may not work correctly if required technical cookies are blocked.
Promotional or affiliate links
Some external links may be promotional or affiliate links when applicable. External platforms may use their own technologies to manage those links.
Optional analytics on Chroma Shu
Updated 6 September 2026. We use Google Analytics 4 to understand which pages people visit, where visits come from and which links to books, resources and videos they use. Infinity Hues and Chroma Shu reports are viewed together, identifying each website and language. We do not use this measurement to personalise advertising.
What is sent and when
Analytics only loads after you choose “Allow analytics”. It sends browser and session identifiers, page and language information, technical browser information and actions such as clicks or progress through an article. Google receives connection information needed to provide the service. We do not send names, emails, comments, access codes or form text to Analytics. Resource paths are normalised to exclude access keys.
Cookies and preferences
The analytics cookies _ga and _ga_* distinguish browsers and sessions. We configure a 60-day lifetime without automatic renewal. This is the cookie lifetime, not the retention period for all data in Google's systems. Consent and team-browser exclusion preferences are kept in this browser's local storage. A test marker, if present, is kept for the session.
Choose, decline or withdraw
You can use this website without analytics. “Essentials only” keeps it off. To change your decision, open the “Privacy” button on the website and choose again. Withdrawing consent stops measurement, removes accessible analytics cookies for this website and reloads the page. It does not retroactively erase data already processed. You can also remove saved preferences in your browser settings. Each website and browser keeps its own choice.
Providers, contact and rights
Analytics is managed by the Chroma Shu project within Infinity Hues, using Google Analytics as its provider. Read about Analytics data handling, Google's privacy policy and its international transfer mechanisms. For questions or requests for access, correction, deletion or other applicable rights, contact chromashu@gmail.com. You can lodge a complaint with the Spanish Data Protection Agency.
Videos and external links
YouTube, Amazon and other platforms apply their own policies when you load their content or follow their links. Consent to our analytics does not mean consent to every external service. Do not include private information in links or public comments.
Updates
This policy may be updated if the website adds new tools, services, or features.
